Favorisé par sa position Géographique, le litoral de Rio Grande do Norte reçois des Houles de Nord, Sud, Sud-Est et Est = du Surf toute l’année !!
Les meilleurs spot de l’état se trouve entre Tibau do Sul et Praia da Pipa
Les Spots :
En Face du Surfcamp (500m - quelques mètres à faire avec un passeur) :
- l’embouchure de la Lagune (800m), sur les bancs de sable, excellent spot mais réservé au surfeur confirmer, marche par tous les swell- à droite de l’embouchure (300m) il y a un reef rapide et creux qui marche par swell de sud-est, réserver au surfeur confirmer.
- à gauche de l’embouchure (800m), 10 km de beach break idéal pour les débutant.
A 10 min a pied au sud du Surfcamp :
- Cacimbinhas : Spot World Class, longue droite de reef qui marche avec un swell de Nord (novembre a mars), meilleur a marrée basse, les vent dominant (S-E) y sont off shore.- Ponta do madeiro : Longue plage (4km), beachbreak qui marche par houle de d’Est et Sud Est.
- Do Curral, situer dans les baie des dauphins, marche avec tous les swell, protégé des vents dominants
